Dear CLARIN-IT Members,
we are pleased to invite you to participate in the First TRIPLE Conference entitled "Empowering Discovery in Open Social Sciences and Humanities", which will take place on Zoom from 22 to 24 November 2021.
The goal of the Conference is to create a space for discussing the impact, benefits and challenges of discovery services for the Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) in the European research ecosystem.
The Conference will focus on the innovative multilingual and multicultural discovery solution for the SSH – the GoTriple platform – which is being developed within the EU project TRIPLE ▪ Transforming Research through Innovative Practices for Linked interdisciplinary Exploration (H2020-INFRAEOSC-2019-1-863420) and is one of the main services provided by the OPERAS Research Infrastructure.
The first mock-ups and functionalities of the application will be presented and participants will be invited to share their feedback.
Participants will discuss the following topics:
- conducting an online search for publications;
- searching for research projects on topics of interest;
- finding and establishing contact with researchers with similar interests;
- business models and crowdfunding in SSH.
