The CLARIN Annual Conference is organised for the Humanities and Social Sciences communities in order to exchange ideas and experiences with the CLARIN infrastructure. This includes its design, construction and operation, the data and services that it contains or should contain, its actual use by researchers, its relation to other infrastructures and projects, and the CLARIN Knowledge Sharing Infrastructure.
The deadline for submission is 16 April 2018.

This workshop aims to bring together researchers interested in compiling, annotating, structuring, linking and visualising parliamentary records and using them in research in a wide range of disciplines in the Humanities and Social Sciences.

*Call for Papers: VarDial - Fifth Workshop on NLP for Similar Languages, Varieties and Dialects* /20 or 21 August 2018, Santa Fe, United States /
VarDial is a well-established series of workshops promoting a forum for scholars working on a range of topics related to the study of diatopic linguistic variation from a computational perspective.
VarDial 2018 will be co-located with COLING 2018.
VarDial anticipates discussion on computational methods and on language resources for closely related languages and language varieties. Corpus-driven exploitation of different degrees of linguistic variation such as lexicon and grammar is another topic of interest.

The Division of Arts and Humanities at the University of California, Berkeley seeks applications for a pool of outstanding lecturers to teach in the Summer Minor in the Digital Humanities. Courses are offered in a six-week session, 2 July 2018 - 10 August 2018.
General duties (include but are not limited to): Teaching topical digital humanities courses offered in the Summer Minor program. These courses fall under four categories: Digital Humanities and Archival Design; Digital Humanities and Text and Language Analysis; Digital Humanities and Visual and Spatial Analysis; and Critical Digital Humanities. In addition to classroom responsibilities, general duties include holding office hours, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials (e.g., syllabus), and maintaining a course website.
